Anjali completed her specialist training in Periodontology at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital. Her passion lies in promoting oral health and treating patients who are concerned about gum disease and losing their teeth.
Since qualifying as a dentist, she has gained a broad range of dental experience, including hospital placements in oral medicine, restorative dentistry, and oral surgery, as well as experience in general practice. During this time, she gained her MFDS qualification.
She is an active member of the British Society of Periodontology and has attended and presented at numerous national and international conferences, allowing her to continuously develop her knowledge and stay up to date with the latest research and advances in periodontal care.
Periodontal disease affects the gums and supporting structures of the teeth and, if left untreated, can ultimately lead to tooth loss. Anjali is committed to providing the highest standard of care and takes a holistic approach to periodontal health. She recognises that the health of the gums is an important part of overall health, as periodontal disease has been associated with a number of general health conditions. By treating and controlling gum disease, she aims not only to help patients maintain their natural teeth, but also to support their wider health and wellbeing.
In her spare time, Anjali enjoys choreographing and performing Indian dance, photography, and spending time with her young family
